New exhibition at my favourite gallery features Adelaide based artist Fiona Hall, and I went to see her talk about her works.
I have never heard of this contemporary artist before, but I was very inspired by her passion for environment, women's position in society, endangered species and world peace.
I particularly liked an installation 'Fall Play'.
She created a dozen of animal sculptures that face an extinction in a county, using their military camouflage uniform and other mundane objects.
They're brilliant concepts and beautifully executed.
Other installations and etching works complete this wonderful exhibition.
