On recommendation, I bought Winsor-Newton oil paint, starting from three primary colours.
Transparent Yellow, Winsor Blue (Red Shade) and Permanent Rose; all transparent colours.
I found that these have very powerful pigment load, and because I'm not used to it, it was a bit difficult to handle at first.
I also oil primed Pebeo linen panel to see if there's any difference. I'm not sure about it at the moment and will see how it turns out later.
I just love this art class at Frank's studio in Thornbury.
There's nothing more exciting thing to do on Sunday afternoon than being in a studio surrounded by other creative artists, with beautiful music floating in the air.
Here is Henry's masterpiece. I particularly liked plum tart on the left. It was very yummy.
