What I really like about this documentary on one of my favourite artists is its tone of film making.
The choice of Meryl Streep as a narrator was brilliant. Her restrained and sophisticated voice creates a wonderful harmony in the film.
Experts who appear in the film are all great, explaining to us the genius of this painter.
It also features a great use of computer graphics, making it a lot easier for us to understand the mastery of his painting technique.
And not to be forgotten. It has a really beautiful sound effect that makes it not just a joy to watch, but also to hear.
The quality of this documentary is one of the best I've ever seen.
