Plein air painting lesson with Gregory Smith

This is my first time ever painting lesson outside studio.
We went to Greenvale Reservoir, north west Melbourne. It's a beautiful place.

I had no idea of where I should start, but Greg instructed me in a very constructive way.
This is two hour work, very boring, and I'm not 100 % happy, but, as a first try, I really enjoyed the experience.

Later on, he did a demonstration. It's really amazing how he built composition and colour harmony one after another.

This is only one and half hour work.

It's a great pleasure to be able to see his working process so closely.
