Oil Painting lesson with Gregory Smith - Day 9

Again, I struggled with a cast. I spent first half session trying to get it right.
It looks a bit better now, but, I still have a long way to go.

Then, I enhanced colours of other objects trying to create three dimensional illusion by gradually changing their tones, and putting some highlights.

Greg put some darker shade around a water pitcher on the left, and suddenly it looks far much better.
It's really amazing to see how objects start to look different by changing tone surrounding it.

I've got only one more session for this term and hope I'll get more details done next week.
