As part of Nite Art, there was a guided tour and life drawing lesson at the Harry Brookes Allen Museum of Anatomy and Pathology, University of Melbourne in Carlton.
This is a very fascinating place to visit. There're many medical specimens, death masks, tissue and bone samples....
The drawing lesson was conducted by Dr. Nina Sellars. She presented a short but extremely informative talk for us, and I really enjoyed it.
You can see her art projects here at her web site.
I couldn't go to city, but, there seemed a lot of interesting art activities this evening. Compared to White Night, it's a bit low key festival, publicity wise, but, I've found this is far much more exciting and truly 'art' festival.
White Night was just a meaningless, bunch of crowd in city event.
I feel very grateful to organisers, and I'm looking forward to another one next year.
This is a quick sketch during a lesson. I was very happy to get some precious suggestions from Nina.
