Oil Painting lesson with Gregory Smith - Day 3

First, I worked on a brick wall, but Greg told me that its colour was too warm. He gave me a new colour mix, and now it looks better.

Then, I worked a bit more on objects. Still, they all look flat. I'm really struggling now.

Lastly, he told me that the table was too dark and warm. I tried to correct, but, it was a disaster.
It looks too dirty and chalky. I have a big problem now.
