Plein Air Oil Painting

I went to Yarra Bend Park in Fairfield.  There's a beautiful boathouse, and I tried to paint it this afternoon.

Because it's a weekday, there're not many people there, and it was cloudy so perfect day to paint outside.

Unfortunately I got proportion completely wrong. Unlike in a studio, I've found that measuring proportions outdoor is very difficult, requiring much more concentration.
