I'm very excited to go back to Greg's studio in Strathmore.
Today, he gave us a project. That is, he asked us to paint still life using monochromatic colour.
Some of us are painting in red colour family, and I chose blue colour family. I used French Ultra, Cerulean, White and Ivory Black.
I was rubbing off the panel using a rag, but, bad habit, I was actually drawing with it.
Of course Greg noticed it, and told me not to draw. I completely forgot it. Get a big shape first!!
I will spend one or more sessions with this exercise, and I'm loving it.
Work in progress.
Oil on panel. 16 x 20 in.
