Plein Air Oil Painting

Kate and I went to Fitzroy Gardens in city this afternoon.

This location is east end of the gardens and there're many eye-catching features.

I'm reasonably happy with the fountain and the foreground, but, there's something missing in this painting. The thing at back ( I don't know what it's called ) is not quite right.
And trees at front should come forward more. I can't see the spacial depth.

There must have been Australia Day festival in city. I could hear some music going on, and I saw beautiful flypast.

I really enjoyed it.
