Oil Painting Sketch

I went to All Nations Park in Northcote this morning and did a small sketch.

I painted this scene about a year ago, not knowing what I'm doing. The blog post is here.
I'm reasonably happy with its overall effect, but, now realise that the angle of a pathway is too steep.
I should have checked it more thoroughly while painting.

Also, lamp posts should be a lot skinnier with different tones.

It was a good exercise.
