Drawing at NGV, 'The Kaleidoscopic Turn' exhibition

Today is the last day of Easter weekend.
Kate and I went to National Gallery of Victoria in the afternoon. We decided to do some drawings.

There's a couch in Room 16 at Level 1. It's a big room with lots of paintings and sculptures. I've found this space is a perfect place to draw.

We spent about an hour drawing. This is a large marble sculpture, I forgot to take a photo.
It's very sketchy, but I'm reasonably happy with this one.

Earlier in the day, we went to NGV at Federation Square.
'The Kaleidoscopic Turn' is an exploration of colour, light, sound, movement and space, featuring some of the famous names of Op Art movement.

I really enjoyed this exhibition, and here are some of my favourites.

'Heart of the air you can hear' by Sandra Selig.

 'Total vibration' by Jonny Niesche.

 'Limbo lamp' by Olafur Eliasson.
