After work, we went to Frankston Arts Centre.
Opening piece 'Emergence' by Rafael Bonachela was a stunning production with music by Sarah Blasko and Nick Wales.
It's a mesmerising choreography of razor-sharp, almost mechanical, precision and lightening speed of body movements. There were also very touching and lyrical male duo in between.
Along with very clever and dreamy lighting design, this one is probably one of the best I've ever seen.
'Fanatic' and 'Cacti' were hilarious social commentary on our culture. Brilliant dance pieces nonetheless, they succeeded in offering a diverse range of dance performance at the highest level tonight.
This dance company is definitely our favourite, and it's a great privilege to have them here in Melbourne.
