I started today by lowering my shoulders, and did some more work on the shirts. Its crease is still not convincing.
Then I made my hair a bit bigger, it was too small. Greg told me to keep white hair a bit warmer by adding a touch of Burnt Sienna. That was a good tip.
I'm still struggling with the face. He keeps reminding me not to see it as a face with its components, but purely a combination of abstract shapes and their tones.
I've found it the biggest challenge.
My fellow artist Rachel in the class is very good at it.
I've got one more session next week, and I'm learning a lot.
Work in progress. 16 x 20 in.
