We went to Healsville Railway Station this morning. Greg organises this monthly session, and it's always a great opportunity to immerse ourselves in nature, and learn from him.
I couldn't finish this one. It's been a long time since this happened, but, after an initial block-in, I had this problem of progressing further.
I end up spending 3 1/2 hours on this, and decided to give up. I thought I'm not gaining anything from this.
I was very frustrated, and wasn't in a right mental frame.
I sought Greg's opinion later. One of the issues was too much white, that made a whole painting chalky.
He offered me other very useful and encouraging advice, for which I'm very grateful.
In a very weird way, I think I learned a lot from this experience.
