We drove to Castlemaine this morning.
My painting teacher Gregory Smith studied oil painting with Graham Moore, and David is his son, and a highly regarded artist.
Subtitled 'Glimpses of Chewton', this superb exhibition showcases his approach to Plein Air Painting.
I just loved all those small tonal landscape.
Although brush strokes are very strong and brave, one can clearly see his honesty in rendering these dramatic scenes.
Unfortunately there wasn't a catalogue, but I was told that was his intention.
One of the best exhibition so far this year. It was great.
