For this painting, I decided to choose bread as a main subject.
I picked up some other stuff from a cupboard, like, a bottle of wine...
After I set them up, it all looked boring, so Greg did some trick.
For example, he put a basket upside down and let bread loose.
Same as a wine glass. Interesting thing was, it all started to tell a human story.
Greg told me a lot about initial rubbing off, why we do it instead of drawing a sketch, because I was drawing a shape with a rag!!
It was a great reminder. He is a great teacher.
I'm loving it.
