On Thursday night, it suddenly occurred to me that I should go join my artists friends for a painting trip in Maldon. I desperately needed fresh air.
Most of the accommodations were not available in Maldon, but, fortunately I found this place, called 'Magpie's Lead Bangalow' through AirB&B.
It's about 5 min drive from town, surrounded by beautiful gum trees. I spent only one night. I really loved it.
On Friday afternoon, we went to Bell's swamp in Eddignton.
I spent 2 1/2 hours. Greg gave me a good comment on this one. It's very simple, but, I liked the effect of light and shadow.

This morning we went to Maldon Railway Station. I started at 9am.
This composition was Greg's suggestion. I spent 2 1/2 hours. The train was gone towards the end, so I couldn't finish it well.
I think I need to push background further back.

In the afternoon, we went to Nuggety Cemetery. I walked around it and found this spot interesting.
I tried to get depth of space right this time. I spent 2 1/2 hours.

The weather was very good. It was a bit cold, but, not too much. Sunny and overcast.
