Oil Painting Sketch

A head study of 'Self-portrait with cigar' by Hugh Ramsay. 

I painted on a sample canvas from Senior Art, oil primed linen 68. This is a thickly woven linen, and I liked it a lot. Paints move very smoothly but not too slippery. The problem is, it's very expensive. 

Now, off to work.
