In the afternoon I went to my favourite studio in Thornbury.
We had Geraldine today. She is a great model and creates lovely pose very easily, and holds it very well.
Again, skin colour is always a great challenge. There's something odd in this painting, I think her head is too small compared to her body. It seems that's my recurring bad habit.
Still, it was great to see familiar faces in this cosy place.
Unfinished. 2 hours.
Oil on panel. 12x16 in.
I booked one week painting trip to Beechworth in March. I can't wait!
