Oil Painting Lesson with Gregory Smith - Day 7

I started a new subject today. 

It's a collection of paraphernalia from a cupboard. 

Greg again gave me a great tip for this and a use of drapery, creating a visual story, rather than just putting stuff on a table. 

His warning not to rub off initial Raw Umber wash too much was very valuable. I still have a bad habit of ending up drawing with a cloth. 

I'm reasonably happy with this one. It's a good start.
