Oil Painting lesson with Gregory Smith

I have to keep reminding myself of the fact that I'm not painting a cast or this is his nose....

It's all about shapes and tones. You just paint what you see. 

Well, that is the most difficult thing to do. 

It was a small class due to a public holiday, but, seeing others' brilliant paintings inspired me a lot. 

Greg gave us a nice tip about painting rocks and cracks. "Don't draw lines. Shape them from outside." Voila!
