Initially Paul had suggested Mt Macedon but he said the area was so busy over the weekend with tourists that there wouldn't be any parking space.
So, he came up with this place, looking across High St from Woodend Primary School.
What a fantastic idea. Paul was already half way through painting when I got here. I was immediately taken by the beautiful light on the house.
Soon Tim arrived. We ended up painting the same subject, and it was fantastic.
The great thing about this spot was that it was so peaceful and relaxing. A few showers was predicted but, actually weather was rather nice.
We had a lovely chat while painting together and it really was a great day.
I spent 2.5 hours.
