A portrait of Clarice Beckett - Between sea and Sky

A very moving life story about one of my favourite painters, beautifully produced by ABC Radio National, although it's very short. 

 

Her name and quality of artwork deserve much wider recognition. What is it that draws me so strongly to her paintings?
