Oil painting lesson with Gregory Smith

Today I started by refreshing background, bleeding into objects a bit. And a table at front. 

Then I reworked on the cast, observing its subtle tonal shift. The book stand needed a fresh colour and I changed its shape a bit. 

I put a more pinky tones to the flowers. 

Finally I put more Burnt Sienna to the metronome to enhance its timber texture. 

It’s getting there.
