Oil painting lesson with Gregory Smith

The second session. 

Matilda is such a lovely model. 

Now is the time to step back and reassess the situation. What are the obvious errors I see in my painting so far? 

Well, plenty of them. 

I changed her head shapes, front body, contour of her face, etc....

Her shoulder is really a tricky one. Greg helped me a lot. 

Lastly, I did her eye. Although her mouth isn’t looking good, I think I’m getting there.
