'Crocodile' by Spinning Plates Co at Forty Five Downstairs

A play by Tom Basden based on Dostoevsky. 

Although all performers are superb, I didn't understand what the hype this play has generated. 

Apart from ugly costumes and makeup they had to wear, the plot lost its directions quite early on, and evaporated completely by the end of the story. 

I thought it was totally absurd. 

Apparently the audience enjoyed it, so, good on them. 

There's far much more in the original short story to be philosophical. 

Also, as an adaptation, this film does a fantastic job, far better than this stage production.
